Hardwick Ground

1.     Cut the grass low with cylinder mower in both directions. About an hour and a half one person

2.     Cut the grass low using the cylinder mower.  About an hour one person.

3.     Scarify four strips of the wicket for matches, junior strips  towards the pavilion. About an hour for two to three persons.

4.     Roll strips if weather permits. One person about half an hour per strip.

5.     Seed any bare patches. No more than half an hour one person

6.     Mark crease lines with white emulsion. About an hour for two people minimum

7.     Treat square for worm casts at end. Will take about an hour

8.     Repair Sightscreens with new boards. (ladder, drill and tool kit needed). Wheel sightscreens out to cricket outfield. Need three or four people for this. About 1 hour. Wheels need to be greased.

9.     Tidy up storage area. Check all items needed for games.

10. Update notice board in pavilion.

11. Replace netting on permanent net area.

12. Clean artificial surface in net area. Treat with herbicide.

13. Mark up creases in nets.

14. Paint new posts with white hammerite paint. Posts, paint, sand paper and brush to be supplied.

15. Clean back grass on artificial strip.

16. Pressure wash artificial strip to remove moss, mud.  Treat with soap and wash again.

1.      Paint new posts with white hammerite paint. Posts, paint, sand paper and brush to be supplied. Rub posts down, wipe clean and paint with two coats of hammerite paint.  Total time about 2 hours over 24 hours

11.  Build mobile covers and position on artificial.
